A rubbery fluid used for leaving paper areas their original colour, on watercolour art
Masking fluid is a rubbery-fluid watercolour medium used to help artists leave small areas of bright white paper, or the original paper colour, or the lightest area of colour. It is also used for highlights and outlines. It can be peeled or rubbed off after the watercolour has been applied and completely dried.
