Polychromos Colour Pencils contain the highest-quality acid-free bright pigments that are archival, for unsurpassed lightfastness. They are vegetable-oil-based pencils, exhibiting a richness of colour and smoothness without the wax bloom that can develop with layering. The buttery smooth colour lay-down offered by these pencils, can easily be blended for layered effects, highlights, and transitions.
They are water-resistant and smudge-proof. They contain a thick 3.8mm lead and are 8mm in diameter with high break-resistance due to the secure bonding process (SV). They can be used on multiple surfaces. Ideal for illustrators, Designers or Fine Artists.
