Cold wax medium is an oil painting medium made from naturally white beeswax and Gamsol.  Cold wax medium makes oil colours thicker and more matte.  Cold wax medium can be applied as a matte varnish.  When using more than 1/3 Cold wax to oil colours, we recommend painting on rigid supports.  Add Gamblin “Galkyd”  Mediums to increase flexibility.  Available in two sizes.
