Derwent Graphitint Range

What is Graphitint? – Graphitint is the name given to a unique range of water-soluble tinted graphite that combines the drama and creativity of pencil drawings, with a hint of soft, subtle colour. Dry Graphitint produces just a suggestion of colour, but water can be added to wash out the lines and make the colour much more vibrant.
Graphitint pencils are made from water-soluble coloured graphite.
The colours are not permanent, so can be lifted and reactivated on the page- like watercolours or traditional aquarelle coloured pencils.
Use Graphitint pencils on rough and smooth surfaces. The rough surface will give you a grainier result, which you smooth out with water, whilst the smooth paper will be great for illustrations and small details.

These traditional goat hair sumi & bamboo brushes from EVE are recommended for ceramics, calligraphy, water-based ink, watercolour techniques, Sumi, and calligraphy techniques. Try them with black Sumi ink.
Invented in China around 300 B.C.E, the bamboo brush was originally intended solely for traditional calligraphy and ink painting styles. When grouped together with the inkstone, inkstick and xuan paper, these implements form what’s called the “Four Treasures of the Study,” a name used to denote the tools necessary to create ink works.
Available in sizes 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Saunders Waterford Watercolour Paper 300gsm is a very high quality watercolour paper that can be used for acrylics, drawing, pen and ink, gouache, charcoal and calligraphy.
It is made with 100% cotton fibre, gelatine tub sized, and is acid free. It is internally starched. As a result, the surface is resistant to fibre lift when removing masking materials. Lines will not feather when pen and ink are used, it will also stand multiple erasures when using pencil or charcoal.
Saunders Waterford is very stable and will have little or no cockling or distortion when soaking or with heavy washes.
100% cotton, mould-made, archival, acid-free.
Available in HP (Hot Pressed), and NOT (Cold pressed).
Size: 76cm x 56cm single sheets.
