Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray painting.
These paints can be used on styrol resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly with no blushing or fading, and can be blended easily.

Tamiiya X-20 dedicated thinner for use with Tamiya Colour Enamel paints – thinning and cleaning. When spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.

Acrylic Thinner is suitable for water or acrylic-based paint. Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice to thin Tamiya acrylic paint when spraying through an airbrush or cleaning bristle brushes. The formula within the thinner gives Tamiya acrylic paints the right consistency to blend colours without fading or spotting.

Lacquer Thinner can be used for lacquer-based paint.
Available also with retarder, which slows drying of airbrushed paints for beautiful finishes. When using to thin paints for airbrushing, mix at a ratio of between 1 part thinner to 1 part paint = 50/50 ratio.

Each bottle contains 10ml of paint, and when spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.
It is recommended that Tamiya Lacquer Thinners is used to thin the paints for airbrushing. Another recommendation would be to apply Tamiya Liquid Primer to the surface of your project before painting it (especially when painting a metal surface)
