Tamiya Model Cement Glues

These are a variety of liquid type glues that are used in the assembly of plastic kits.
Tamiya extra thin model cement is used to glue together plastic model kits that use polystyrene plastic. No crevice is too small for this flowing adhesive, which was developed to flow into and stick the small spaces between two plastic parts which have been pre-fitted to one another.
The Quick Setting Cement typically dries in under 10 seconds, whereas the standard Extra Thin Cement dries within 40 seconds of application.
Use liquid cement for plastic to plastic construction. Use super glue for dissimilar materials (plastic to resin, PE, cloth, resin, etc).

Tamiya Acrylic Paints

These Tamiya acrylic paints are good quality and speially dsignd for miniature model and diarama painting.

Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray painting.
These paints can be used on styrol resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly with no blushing or fading, and can be blended easily.

Tamiya Paint Thinners – Enamel, Acrylic & Lacquer

Enamel Thinner can be used for enamel paint. Tamiiya X-20 dedicated thinner for use with Tamiya Colour Enamel paints – thinning and cleaning. When spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.

Acrylic Thinner is suitable for water or acrylic-based paint. Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice to thin Tamiya acrylic paint when spraying through an airbrush or cleaning bristle brushes. The formula within the thinner gives Tamiya acrylic paints the right consistency to blend colours without fading or spotting.

Lacquer Thinner can be used for lacquer-based paint.
Available also with retarder, which slows drying of airbrushed paints for beautiful finishes. When using to thin paints for airbrushing, mix at a ratio of between 1 part thinner to 1 part paint = 50/50 ratio.

Tamiya Enamel Paints

Tamiya Color Enamel Paints are used for brush or spray painting, and can be applied to almost any surface of wood, metal or plastic. They are most often used for painting built toys and models, vehicle touch-ups, 3D figurines, and metal artworks. Each bottle contains 10ml of paint, and when spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.
It is recommended that Tamiya Lacquer Thinners is used to thin the paints for airbrushing. Another recommendation would be to apply Tamiya Liquid Primer to the surface of your project before painting it (especially when painting a metal surface)
