Dala Wooden Beads

Natural unvarnished round wooden beads. Great for kids’ crafts, model-making, soft sculpture, jewellery-making and mixed media.
Dala Wooden Beads can be used in kids crafts and learning activities such as counting, sorting and colour games. use them in conjunction with other Bits & Pieces such as chenille stems as well as the other wooden craft items in this range. Constuct wooden crafts using Dala Cold School Glue, Craft Glue and Contstruction Glue. Can also be used to develop fine motor skills in jewellery-making activities.
The natural beads can be dyed, painted using Dala Craft Paints, and sealed and varnished using Dala Deco Hard Varnish.

Dala Plaster of Paris

Dala Plaster of Paris is a white powder that requires the addition of varying amounts of water to create a paste which can then be poured, made into a mould or mask, or sculpted with.
The paste is poured into a mould to create a ‘positive’, or poured over something to cast a ‘negative’.

Sprinkle the plaster into clean water – mix 2 parts Plaster of Paris with 1 part water.
Leave to stand for 60 seconds.
Then mix slowly together until a thick, creamy consistency has been acheived.
Clean up using a wet cloth or water while plaster is still dry.
